By booking or participating in one of our experiences, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
About Her Walks
Her Walks offers local walking experiences designed to help visitors discover Marseille through authentic, personal, and welcoming experiences led by local women.
Our walks are intended for cultural exploration, local recommendations, and social connection. They are not guided tours requiring professional tour guide accreditation unless otherwise specified.
Bookings
Bookings may be made through our website or social media channels only.
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation message has been sent.
Cancellations and Refunds
Guests may cancel up to 12 hours before the scheduled experience for a full refund.
Cancellations made between 3 and 12 hours before the experience will receive a 50% refund (or a voucher valid for a future date).
Cancellations made less than 3 hours before the experience will not be eligible for a refund.
If Her Walks must cancel an experience due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered either:
- A full refund; or
- An alternative date, when available.
Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for:
- Arriving on time at the meeting location.
- Wearing suitable clothing and footwear.
- Following local laws and regulations.
- Informing us of any accessibility requirements before booking.
Guests participate at their own discretion and are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the experience.
Health and Safety
Our experiences involve walking in public spaces.
Participants should ensure they are physically able to comfortably complete the walk.
Her Walks is not responsible for injuries, accidents, loss, theft, delays, or events outside our reasonable control.
Weather
Experiences generally take place rain or shine.
In cases of severe weather or conditions that may affect participant safety, Her Walks reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an experience.
Photography
During experiences, photos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs may notify us at any time, and we will respect their preference.
Respectful Conduct
We aim to create a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone.
Her Walks reserves the right to refuse participation or end an experience without refund if a participant behaves in a way that is unsafe, disruptive, discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate toward others.
Changes to Experiences
Routes, locations, schedules, and recommendations may occasionally change due to local events, weather, business closures, safety considerations, or other circumstances.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Her Walks shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in an experience.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
Privacy
Any personal information collected through bookings or contact forms will be used solely for communication, booking administration, and improving our services.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
