Starting at the vibrant Vieux-Port, this walk traces Marseille’s dramatic shoreline where urban energy meets the open sea.

We begin by strolling past the waterfront towards the cliffside garden of Palais du Pharo, offering the most breathtaking panoramic view over the old harbor and Mucem. From there, we descend to Plage des Catalans—the city’s beloved first sandy beach—before following the scenic Corniche path to the heroic Porte d’Orient monument.

Our journey culminates in the postcard-worthy Vallon des Auffres, a hidden, traditional fishing port tucked beneath an iconic viaduct. Here, you can choose to stay for a sunset aperitif over the water, or walk back toward the harbor with your guide.
